Ingredients

  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 tablespoons Granulated Sugar
  • 1 oz Bourbon (Old Fitzgerald 12 year)
  • 3/8 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 3/8 cup Whole Milk
  • Cocoa (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Crack the egg and separate the yolk into a bowl.
  2. Beat the egg yolk in a stand mixer until thick.
  3. Add sugar and mix, then incorporate the bourbon.
  4. Refrigerate the mixture until ready to use.
  5. In a stand mixer, whip the heavy cream and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  6. In a separate clean, dry bowl, whip the egg white until soft peaks form.
  7. Combine the egg yolk mixture, milk, and whipped cream in a punch bowl.
  8. Gently fold in the whipped egg whites.
  9. Refrigerate until serving.
  10. Garnish with a dusting of cocoa.
