Ingredients

  • 0.02 oz dried cannabis
  • 1 cup whole milk, divided
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon raw almonds
  • 1/2 teaspoon rose water
  • 1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 8 black peppercorns
  • Dried rose petals (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 225°F.
  2. Spread 0.02 oz dried cannabis in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 14-16 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Transfer the toasted cannabis to a blender and add 1 cup of whole milk, 2 teaspoons of sugar, 1 tablespoon of raw almonds, 1/2 teaspoon of rose water, 1/2 teaspoon of fennel seeds, 1/2 teaspoon of ground cardamom, 1/4 teaspoon of ground turmeric, 1/4 teaspoon of kosher salt, and 8 black peppercorns.
  4. Blend until frothy and smooth, about 30 seconds.
  5. Add the remaining 1 cup of whole milk and blend for another 30 seconds until the sugar is dissolved.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a small saucepan and bring to a simmer over low heat for about 3 minutes. Let it cool.
  7. Divide the mixture among 8 small glasses filled with ice and top with dried rose petals.
