Ingredients

  • 2 oz Kahlúa
  • 2 oz homemade eggnog (or store-bought)
  • 1 oz vodka
  • 0.50 oz cinnamon syrup
  • Optional garnishes: ground cinnamon, cinnamon stick, star anise
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a shallow bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon. Dip the rim of a lowball glass into water, then into the cinnamon sugar mixture. Set aside.
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, then add the Kahlúa, eggnog, vodka, and cinnamon syrup. Shake for about 30 seconds until well chilled.
  3. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass and add additional ice if desired.
  4. Garnish with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon and a cinnamon stick or star anise.
