Ingredients

  • 1 orange slice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/3 cup sweetened cranberry juice
  • 1/2 cup champagne
  • 5 fresh cranberries
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rub the orange slice around the rim of a champagne flute.
  2. Place the sugar on a shallow dish, and dip the moistened rim of the champagne flute into the sugar.
  3. Carefully pour about 1/3 cup of cranberry juice into the flute.
  4. Fill the rest of the glass with champagne.
  5. Garnish with fresh cranberries and a sprig of rosemary, if desired.
