A frozen twist on the classic paloma cocktail, this Frozen Ruby Paloma is a refreshing and tangy blend of ruby red grapefruit juice, white tequila, lime juice, and simple syrup, served in a slushy, frozen form.
Ingredients
- 3/8 cup freshly squeezed ruby red grapefruit juice
- 1/4 cup white tequila
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 tablespoon simple syrup
- 1 cup ice
- Pinch of kosher salt
- 1 thin wedge ruby red grapefruit, for garnish
Instructions
- In a quart container, combine the ruby red grapefruit juice, white tequila, lime juice, and simple syrup. Freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight, until solid.
- Use a fork to break up the frozen mixture, then transfer half of it to a blender.
