Ingredients
- 1.50 tbsp sugar
- 1.50 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp fresh mint leaves
- 1 tbsp black cherry bourbon or bourbon
- 1 cup sparkling water, chilled
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint sprigs
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine sugar and water. Heat and stir over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
- Remove from heat and stir in the fresh mint leaves. Let it stand for 1 hour, then remove and discard the mint.
- Transfer the mint-infused syrup to a small bowl and chill for several hours or overnight.
- In a pitcher, stir together the chilled syrup and bourbon.
- Stir in the chilled sparkling water.
- Serve the punch over ice and garnish with fresh mint sprigs.
