Ingredients

  • 1/8 cup oats
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 3/4 cup whisky
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine oats and water in a bowl or jug, stirring well. Cover and let it soak for 24 hours.
  2. Strain out the oats, preserving the liquid. Use a fine tea strainer or muslin cloth, ensuring all liquid is extracted from the oats.
  3. Mix the honey into the oat liquid.
  4. Add the whisky and stir.
  5. For a creamier texture, add the cream and stir (optional).
