Ingredients

  • 1/2 Tangerine (peeled and cut in 2)
  • 3 Large mint leaves
  • 1/2 oz. Agave simple syrup
  • 3/4 oz. Passionfruit syrup
  • 1 oz. Lime juice
  • 1 1/2 oz. Tequila
  • 1/2 oz. Suze gentian liqueur
  • 1 barspoon chia seeds (prepped for garnish)
  • Fresh mint sprig for garnish
  • Montelobos mezcal (in a mist bottle)

Instructions

  1. Place the tangerine, mint, and agave syrup in an empty cocktail shaker.
  2. Gently muddle to extract the tangerine juice and release the mint's flavor.
  3. Add the lime juice, passionfruit syrup, tequila, and gentian liqueur to the shaker.
  4. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well.
  5. Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with ice.
  6. Top with 1-2 barspoons of prepped chia seeds.
  7. Garnish with a fresh mint sprig and mist with 1 pump of mezcal spray.
