Ingredients
- 1/2 oz orgeat
- Sage, for muddling and garnish
- 1 1/2 oz apple cider
- 1 oz Ransom Spirits Old Tom gin
- 1 oz lemon juice
- 1/2 oz Laird's Applejack
- 1/2 oz ginger syrup
- 1/4 oz Amaro Montenegro
- 1/4 oz Pierre Ferrand dry curacao
- 1/4 oz Rothman and Winter orchard apricot
- 2 dashes cardamom bitters
- Drizzle of light-bodied red wine
Instructions
- In a tall glass, gently muddle a few sage leaves with the orgeat.
- Add the apple cider, Old Tom gin, lemon juice, Applejack, ginger syrup, Amaro Montenegro, dry curacao, orchard apricot, and cardamom bitters to the glass.
- Fill the glass 2/3 with crushed ice and stir well to incorporate the ingredients.
- Add more ice to mound over the top.
- Drizzle the cocktail with light-bodied red wine.
- Garnish with a sage bundle.
