Ingredients
- 3.50 tbsp soft light brown sugar
- 1.50 oz bourbon
- 0.75 oz lemon juice
- 1 egg white
Instructions
- Combine the soft light brown sugar and 3.5 tbsp of water in a pan, then heat gently until the sugar dissolves. Let it cool; this will make more syrup than needed but can be stored in the fridge for a couple of weeks.
- In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add bourbon, lemon juice, egg white, and 1 oz of the brown sugar syrup.
- Shake the ingredients vigorously for 15-30 seconds.
- Strain the mixture into an old fashioned glass and serve.
